Zazzle Username is your Zazzle URL

I just started a Zazzle gallery. After the fact I found that the Username you pick becomes part of the URL. So now my URL is http://www.zazzle.com/tjustleft. It would have been nice to have been told this at sign up. I made the suggestion to add a notice to the sign up letting others know this from now on. Hopefully his is implemented soon.

Once you pick your name it can't, at this time, be changed. Pick your username carefully for Zazzle if you decide to st up shop there. For many part of their SEO includes the name used in their URL. Others do not care as much and focus more on content and other areas of SEO. I know everyone can miss some things once in while. It just seems strange this hasn't been addressed as yet. You can open a new store and pick the name you would have picked. This may be a pain if you have already added several products and categories. If so you get to start all over again. You can give the store any name you want. If you don't mind the header showing a different name than the URL then go for it. Don't forget to add a title tag to the header image if you use one. Also you can add a title tag to the header URL. This can help offset any SEO lost from the misnamed URL. Of course you will want to do this even if you got the right name from the start smiley.

Well now that I given a heads up it's time to skin that gallery. Well at least fret over it for a while first.

Much to learn about Blogger

This blog has only been up a few days. Already I need to rethink the whole thing. It seems I have much to learn about Blogger. Over and over I read how great Blogger is. As it stands this is really just a conversation with myself. Why is that? Because the Meta Data that would help search engines find this blog is non-existent in Blogger/Blogspot blogs. Wish I new that before I got started. Oh well talking to myself is nothing new to me. smiley

To be honest I know just a little HTML and CSS. Still enough to create my Christian family website in a text editor. That's what I was expecting to be able to do here. Turns out we cant do that. Not the end of the world however. There is some coding that can be inserted in the Blogger template. It just isn't anything I'm used to. Time to crank up the learning mode a notch.

I have been studying this situation. There are some changes to be made once they are more understood. Hopefully within a few days. Then this blog, such as it is, can be shared with the world. As much as I enjoy talking to myself it can be done much easier in person than on the web. smiley

Have a safe weekend and May God bless you.

Patriotic Bald Eagle T-shirt

Bald Eagle t-shirt
Bald Eagles always seem to look serious. They have to be. What they have has to be fought for. Bald Eagles have to protect their home, their, young, and their food. Add to that their keen vision and awesome flying skills. The embodiment of freedom. No wonder it is the national bird of the United states.

Beautiful close up photo of the Bald Eagle. American Flag backdrop. Two symbols of freedom together in this Patriotic Bald Eagle T-shirt design.

Matthew 17:20-Christian T-shirt

Christian T-shirt
Matthew 17:20 is the theme of this Christian t-shirt design. Pride is added to the theme. Bible scripture t-shirts are very popular. These Christian t-shirts also come in kids, infant, and plus sizes.

Matthew 17:20 "So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

Christian Hoodies are also available in time for winter weather. Stay warm and comfortable. Above all keep The faith.

Pride climbs mountains-Faith moves them

Christian T-shirt - Anti Bailout

Christian t-shirt-Newspaper design
With the current focus on health care reform this design may seem behind the news. Actually the blog is new, not the design. This Christian t-shirt features a realistic newspaper. Pictured is outgoing President Bush and incoming President Obama.

This was an Anti -Bailout response to the question "Who has a plan?" The answer: "God has a plan." Apparently Washington didn't want in on God's plan. It's not too late to wear these Christian T-shirts and Hoodies. Show Washington who they should be listening to.

iPod Silhouette style T-shirt

silhouette t-shirt
It's time for another Pop culture t-shirt. Those iPod Silhouette ads are so cool. Here of course is Rodin's Le Penseur (The Thinker). Don't you think Rodin would have worn an iPod silhouette T-shirt?

This is not one of those plain black silhouettes we see a lot of. Have a look at a bigger iThink image. The printed images are around 8-10 inches so you will get nice detail. Buy this iPod Silhouette style design on T-shirts, Hoodies, Mousepads, and more. iThink Therefore I am.

Patriotic Bald Eagle T-shirt

Bald Eagle t-shirt
Last year I got a nice surprise. We were driving on highway 287 in the middle of Amarillo, Texas. I looked up through the sunroof just in time to see a Bald Eagle flying directly overhead. This was my first time seeing one so far into town.

You have to admire the Bald Eagle. Beautiful, powerful, and free. No wonder is is America's symbol of freedom. This postage stamp design shows the Bald Eagle in red, white, and blue. Truly an original and unique Bald Eagle t-shirt.

Geek T-shirts

geek-t-shirt-designSome say Geek and some say Nerd. Some people pick on them. That is until one of their electronic devices quit on them. Then they're on the phone calling their local Geek squad. Think about it. If not for Geeks there wouldn't be a phone. No technology.
caution i brake for geeks
This Geek t-shirt design was made to help preserve our Geeks and Nerds. Take it a step further. Slap this license plate frame on your car. There may be a Geek behind you.

Christian Grunge

Christian Hoodie
This Christian Hoodie is inspired by John 17:14 "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

Here is a larger image so you can see the detail. You can't see the Chrome John 17:14 in the small image. It's next to the word Not.

I love to design Christian t-shirts. Worldliness is the theme of this Christian grunge design. The splatter and vector brushes help paint a picture in more ways than one. Grunge from the vectors show the corruption of The World. Splatter around Not shows The World's attempt to corrupt those not of the world but failing.

Edit

This design has had to be removed from sale. Somehow a group was allowed to claim copyright/trademark to the phrase "Not of this world." Imagine that. Worse is that the group asserts itself as Christian. They have a mission statement proclaiming to spread The Gospel. Their use of the phrase is in the biblical sense. It is not a case of two separate phrases that could lead to confusion or disparagement. That they also use "Not of this world" on t-shirts does not change that they acknowledge these as God's written word. I am disturbed that anyone especially a Christian would do such a thing. Do not get me wrong. I believe they have every right to protect their unique designs and logos. I do not believe they have the right to take a phrase from The Bible spoken by Jesus and say only they are allowed to sell products with it. As I have stated elsewhere their actions belie their mission. I ask that you pray on this matter. We who are not of this world must have no divisions among us.

Trekkie T-shirts

For the last time! It's Trek not track!

Trekkie t-shirt I may as well start with my most popular designs. I started off making Christian t-shirts. I was just a little surprised that the Trekkie t-shirts were the first to sell. Star Trek and other pop culture are popular after all.
Star Trek mousepadNow about the design. Maybe I'm not hardcore enough to be called a Trekkie. Still I am a long time Star Trek fan. Living in Texas there is something that always bugs me. Many people call it Star track. I'd rather hear nails on a chalkboard. Actually I like that sound but that's just me :). Anyway. When I started designing t-shirts it hit me. I can make a difference. I can help end the mispronunciation(Patriotic music in background). Trekkies I know you get it.
Help me end the mispronunciation with your own Trekkie t-shirt.
